Casio are currently
one of the premier consumer electronics companies in the world and
are hugely popular. They create a wide range of electrical products
such as televisions, electrical musical instruments and calculators
- a product which primarily drove the Casio brand.
Casio watches feature
electronic displays which backlighting so the time can be seen at
night. Casio watches are generally created with alarms which you
can set, often with a choice of different sounding bleeps, and a
battery that can last up to two years.

The Casio G Shock
is one of the most popular watches in the range. The G shock range
covers a wide amount of models such as sports, diving and analog
watches. The design of the Caiso G Shock was intended to make it
one of the toughest wearing watches in the world. All of the Casio G shock models are two hundred meters water resistant and can be
used for snorkelling, scuba diving or other watery pursuits. With
fashionable and bold designs the Casio G Shock is definitely a best
seller.
The
Origins of the Casio Company:
The Casio Computer
Company limited was founded by Tadao Kashio in nineteen forty six
after working in the military with plants manufacturing. The company
originally manufactured aircraft parts and other related products.
However the founders brother suggested that the company develop
a calculator, towards which the company began aiming.
Eventually the Casio calculator was launched and became hugely popular. The Casio brand
is now seen throughout the world and, especially during the eighties, Casio was one of the most high profile brands around.
From this success
the Casio company began to move into other areas, where the specialisation
with electrical products could be use. In November nineteen seventy
five the first of the Casio watches line was launched. The first
of their line was a digital watch capable of displaying the year,
month, date, hour minute and second of the time. This Casio watches
product was also able to make adjustments for months of different
lengths, always keeping their date tracking accurate.
From here onwards,
after the initial popular launch, Casio watches continued to create
new products in this range and are still doing so today. However
since then they have moved strides in other business areas –
not just watches. They now create a wide range of products such
as musical instruments, televisions and pagers. All of which rely
upon the ability in creating electrical components.
