The Rado company was founded in nineteen seventeen with their first scratchproof watch, the type that has made them so popular, being produced in the nineteen sixties and called the Rado Diastar.

The materials that Rado use to make their watches are highly distinctive and quite unlike the typical materials used by other watch manufacturers such as steel and gold. Rado use sapphire crystal, ceramics and hi tech diamond surfaces in the construction of their watches which you can really see. The difference in surfaces to standard watches is quite phenomenal produce a great brand which stands out from most other watch types.

Rado Esenza Watch – a very simple egg shaped, curved design is the key feature of the Rado Esenza. The dial and strap are black as the night giving an exceptionally classy look set off by the striking white hands upon the dial. The strap itself is black leather with a metal buckle and special magnet for time setting. This Rado watch is thirty meters water resistant with titanium caseback.

Rado Diastar – a very unique watch, this model features a luminous display, gold-tone hands and a water resistance of up to thirty meters. The sapphire crystal on the watches front is scratch proof, connected to a gold-tone and stainless steel case. This range of Rado watches also displays chunky faux diamond hour markers adding a shimmer to the gold watch.
